Q. Why doesn't the employee pop-up box auto-close?
A. There may be instances when you need to select more than one employee from the list. Rather than requiring you to click the pop-up icon again, CurrentTrack keeps the box open on your screen.

Q. Each of our employees bill at a different hourly rate. How can we keep from having a hundered different Work Codes in CurrentTrack, yet still accurately track costs?
A. In order to make the number of Codes a bit less cumbersome, try the following:

1. Determine if there are any common functions among your employees. Is proofreading $75/hr. regardless of who is reviewing the materials? If so, create one Work Code called Proofreading (P) with a rate of 75.00. All employees can then record their time under (P).

2. Next, determine if any employees can be grouped together under the same Code and rate. For example, five employees do creative work. Three of them bill at $100/hr. Create a Code called Creative A (CA) with a rate of 100.00. The other two employees bill at a rate of $75/hr. Create another Code called Creative B (CB) with a rate of 75.00.

3. Lastly, create individual Codes for employee's whose time doesn't fall into either a common Code or grouping.

Q. What's the best way to address part-time employees' Time Sheets?
A. Flag part-time employees as non-Exempt and instruct them to delete unneeded Sheets, as necessary (Time & Expenses -- [Select date] -- [click] Edit Selected Time Sheet -- [check box to left of first line item] -- [click] Delete Marked Rows -- [click] Complete Time Sheet.)

Q. How do I edit an employee's User Name?
A. Because each employee is assigned an ID number in your agencys database upon being activated, and that ID is directly tied to his or her User Name, Developware will have to make the modification for you. Simply send the Full Name of the employee via e-mail to help@developware.com. A member of our technical team will be more than happy to re-set the User Name and Password for you.

Q. How do I re-activate an employee?
A. To re-activate an employee within CurrentTrack, go to Administration - Agency Administration - Edit Employees. Choose the employee from the Full Name column by clicking on his/her name. Change the Status to Here. Be sure to re-list his/her name beside the appropriate Permissions and Notifications items as well. His/her User Name and Password information will be the same as it used to be.
