Client Interface
Q. Why doesn't the .jpg image that I uploaded appear in my browser?
A. In order for a .jpg image to appear in your browser, it must be saved as an RGB, not CMYK, file.

Q. How do I delete a file that's been posted to a job?
A. To delete a file, go to Clients & Jobs -- Client -- Job -- I Want To: Open Creative Folder; click Delete.

Q. Can I remove Client Feedback from a job's Documents Folder?
A. For reasons of historical accuracy, Client Feedback can neither be deleted nor edited once it's filed within CurrentTrack.

Q. I added an Event and made it viewable to the Client. It's not appearing within the Client Interface. Why?
A. Once all Guests of the Event (if applicable) have responded to the Invitation (i.e. Accept or Decline), and if the Event falls within the next seven days, it will appear within the Client's CurrentTrack Calendar. Upon logging in to the Client Interface, they will see an additional column to the right of their usual Job Folders that includes a list of Events, sorted by month, with hotlinks to the Events' details.

Q. Why doesn't a file that's uploaded to a job's Creative Folder keep its original name when later downloaded?
A. CurrentTrack assigns a unique file name to every piece of uploaded creative to guarantee no name crossovers. If Employee A is working on a brochure and uploads "brochure.pdf," and Employee B is working on a brochure for a completely different Client and uploads "brochure.pdf," the files could possibly overwrite one another.

Q. How do I assign a [Client Interface] User Name and Password to a Client?
A. A User Name and Password is assigned within the Client's Spec Sheet. Simply go to Clients & Jobs -- Client -- I Want To: Edit Client Spec Sheet -- [see] Client Interface Logins [section] -- [enter information] -- [click] Edit Client Spec Sheet.

Q. How do I assign a [Client Interface] User Name and Password to a Vendor?
A. A User Name and Password is assigned within the Vendor's profile. Simply go to Address Books -- I Want To: View Vendor Address Book -- [click] Edit [beside the appropriate Vendor] -- [enter] Login, Password -- [click] Edit Vendor.

Q. How do I assign a [Client Interface] User Name and Password to a Guest?
A. A User Name and Password needn't be assigned to a Guest. He/she can simply log in, under your Agency name, with the User Name Guest. No Password is required.

Q. What file types are acceptable to post? Is there a size limit per file?
A. Any file type is acceptable -- from .doc to MP3. There's no file size limit.

Q. How can I monitor our storage space total?
A. Go to Administration -- Agency Administration -- Manage Creative Files -- [leave all default settings and click Submit]. This will display a list of all assets you've uploaded to date. Additional storage space can be purchased at the rate of $35 per gig, per month.

Q. I have a Client that needs to access creative files across several Active Client Folders. I dont want her to have to log in under each respective Client, using a different User Name and Password each time. Is there a workaround?
A. First, add the Client (e.g. Mary Smith) as a Vendor by going to Address Books -- I Want To: View Vendor Address Book -- Add Vendor -- [Assign Mary a Login and Password]. When uploading creative assets to your various jobs (Clients & Jobs -- Client -- Job -- I Want To: Open Creative Folder -- Upload [creative file]), check the box beside Viewable to Vendor and indicate Mary Smith as the Vendor User(s); send e-mail notification, if desired. Any creative assets, regardless of the Client folder, will be viewable to Mary when accessing the Client Interface.

Q. A Client is attempting to log in to the Client Interface and is receiving a "DBI Connect Failed" error message. Why?
A. This error is received when the session in CurrentTrack is lost, which could be for several reasons. The most common reason is the user did not set the cookies in his/her browser to 'keep until expired' (and 'accept cookies'). Without the session, CurrentTrack will not know who (s)he is (or the associated agency) and therefore cannot retrieve any information.
